Message from the Head of Department

Welcome to the Department of Building and Civil Engineering at Baringo National Polytechnic.

Our department is committed to producing highly skilled technicians and technologists capable of meeting the demands of Kenya’s rapidly growing construction industry. Through Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET), learners acquire practical knowledge in building technology, civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, surveying, and related disciplines.

Our modern workshops, laboratories, experienced trainers, and strong industry partnerships provide learners with hands-on experience that prepares them for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.

We remain committed to innovation, professionalism, quality training, and sustainable infrastructure development.
