Message from the Deputy Principal – Administration

The Administration Division plays a critical role in creating an enabling environment for quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) at Baringo National Polytechnic. The Division is responsible for the efficient management of human resources, finance, procurement, infrastructure, transport, security, estates, student support services, and institutional administration. Through prudent planning, effective resource management, and adherence to government policies and public service values, we ensure that the Polytechnic operates efficiently while providing a safe, secure, and conducive environment for learning, innovation, and professional growth.

As the Polytechnic continues to implement the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) framework, the Administration Division remains committed to supporting the provision of modern workshops, laboratories, digital infrastructure, teaching and learning resources, and industry-responsive training facilities. We work collaboratively with academic departments, development partners, government agencies, industry, and other stakeholders to strengthen institutional capacity, promote operational excellence, and ensure that every learner benefits from a high-quality training environment that nurtures competence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
